<description> The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) District 5 Office announces that eastbound Interstate 64 in Louisville will be reduced to one lane between mile points 5 and 6.  The lane closure is scheduled from 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, February 2nd until 3:00 a.m. on Friday, February 3rd.  KYTC crews will be doing bridge deck patching.<br/><br/>The actual starting date and duration of this work may be adjusted if inclement weather or other unforeseen delays occur.  Dial 511 or log on to 511.ky.gov for the latest in traffic and travel information in the Commonwealth of Kentucky.  You can also get traffic information for the District 5 counties at www.facebook.com/KYTCDistrict5.<br/><br/>Motorists should use caution in this and all construction zones for their own safety as well as that of the workers. </description>

<description> I-64 is closed in both directions at the Ohio River Bridge for at least the next 10 weeks while a structural repair is completed.  <br/><br/>Motorists in Kentucky, wishing to access I-64 west in Indiana may travel north on I-65 to access I-265 West to connect with I-64. <br/><br/>Please note that in Kentucky,  in order to better streamline traffic onto I-65 near the bridge, access to I-65 from I-64 West is prohibited.  Therefore, I-64 westbound travelers approaching Louisville and destined for Indiana, should use either I-265 or I-264 to access either I-65 N or I-71 S to gain access to the I-65 bridge over the Ohio River.<br/><br/>Motorist in Indiana on I-64 eastbound , travelling to Kentucky, should use I-265 East to access I-65 South to cross the bridge.<br/><br/>This information was last updated 01-06-2012. </description>

<description> The Department of Highways District 5 Office advises motorists to be aware of  construction at the interchange of Interstate 265 (Gene Snyder Freeway) and US 60 (Shelbyville Road). In addition, asphalt resurfacing will occur on I-265 between Interstate 64 and US 60 (mile points 25.4 and 26.7).  <br/>The roadway may be reduced to one lane weeknights Monday through Thursday from 8:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m. the following morning. On weekends, lane/ramp closures are possible from 8:00 p.m. on Friday until 5:00 a.m. on Monday. <br/>The speed limit in the work zone will be reduced to 55 MPH. .<br/>Motorists should use caution in this and all construction zones for their own safety and that of the workers.<br/><br/> </description>
