Work begins today, November 9th, to widen I-64 to three lanes in each direction. The new lanes will be constructed in the interstate median.

Two lanes of traffic will be maintained in each direction on I-64 during the majority of the construction. Lane closures will be necessary during the mobilization and demobilizatiion of the project and will occur during the overnight hours.

Lane closures are possible in both directions weekdays from 7:00 p.m. each evening until 6:00 a.m. the following morning. This is the intersection of SR 64 and SR 62 near Georgetown, Indiana.
