Construction has begun o the installation of cable barriers in the median of SR 841 (Gene Snyder Freeway) between Dixie Highway and I-65. There will be lane closures each night between 7:00 p. m. and 5:00 a. m. the next morning. This location is between mile posts o.o and 10.2. Delays may be possible.

Travelers will experience a reduced speed limit to 55 mph, and delays, on I-64 between mile 18.8 and 23.9 weekdays Monday through Thursday from 9:00 p. m. to 5:00 a.m. the following morning. Except on weekends, when no lane closures will be allowed. This project is expected to last until the fall of 2010.

Travelers on I-65 both Northbound and Southbound will experience lane closures Monday night through Thursday night from 9:00 p. m. until 5:00 a.m. the following morning for pavement repairs. Two lanes of traffic will be maintained Monday through Thursday nights. On weekends from 9:00 p. m. on Friday night until 5:00 a. m. on Monday morning the pavement repair work will go on day and night, and open lanes may be reduced to one lane in each direction. This work schedule will be continous until the fall of this year when the project is scheduled to be completed, except on holiday weekends when no construction will be performed.

Travelers on Westbound I-264 will experience delays at the ramp to Westbound I-64 as the connecting ramp is re-constructed this year. The project will have shoulder cloures to start with this week, and will have further restrictions yet to be announced as the project proceeds. This project is expected to last until the spring of 2010, and will be ongoing 24/7.
