Motorists traveling in Indiana on I-64, in both directions ( east and west) between the 123.0 mile marker and the 121.0 mile marker will experience right lane closures on weekends from 7:00 p. m on Friday evenings until 5:00 a. m. on Monday morning for road work. For the weekend, in the east bound lanes at the 123.0 mile marker, there will also be painting operations during the same hours as the other scheduled work. Lane closures and delays are also possible in the same areas on week nights. This project is scheduled to conclude on August 15, 2010.

Motorist traveling in this area, and all construction zones should do so with caution for their safety and the safety of the workers.

KY EW I-264 at Mile Marker 15.6 in Louisville in Jefferson county. Between U. S. 31 E AND U.S. 42.

On I-264 east and west the shoulders will be closed at underpasses while painting the underpasses is in progress. The work will begin with the Brownsboro Road underpass at mile marker 22.1 and progress westward. The work will start today, August 9th, and continue through November 15, 2010. The shoulders of the road will be closed 24 hours a day seven days a week, and lane closures are possible nights and weekends. The speed limit will be reduced in the area of construction to 45 mph with double fines assessed to violators.

A construction project is in progress to resurface I-265 from Taylorsville Road to Seatonville Road. The work will be done nightly during the week from 7 P.M. until 6 A.M. the next morning. On weekends the work will be done from 7 P.M. on Friday until 6 A. M. on Monday. Possible lane closures each night.

THE SPEED LIMIT IN THIS WORK ZONE REMAINS 55 MPH FOR THE DURATION OF THE PROJECT.

KY EW I-64 at Mile Marker 23.9 in Louisville in Jefferson county. From Shelby County line to I-265.

As the continued reconstruction of I-64 progresses, westbound lanes of I-64 have been reconfigured to have barrier walls separating the lanes through the construction zone from the 23.9 mile marker to the 18.8 mile marker. Motorists wishing to access I-265 from the westbound lanes will need to be in the right lane as they travel through this area. Message signs are installed to advise motorists of the need to make this decision well ahead of the beginning of the barriers. This project is scheduled to run through the fall of 2010 before completion. Approach this area with caution.

Motorists may experience delays in both directions during daylight hours due to blasting operations.

THE SPEED LIMIT THROUGH THIS WORK ZONE REMAINS 55 MPH WITH DOUBLE FINES ASSESSED FOR VIOLATIONS OF THIS SPEED LIMIT.
